Facing Bens Giant Update

 

We are so thankful that Ben was released last night from the hospital. Next week he starts that week long chemo treatment again, the one that they think landed him in the hospital to begin with, so your prayers are GREATLY appreciated. They're hoping that starting him on anti-biotics and andi-diarrheals before he starts on Monday will fend off another attack of pancreatitis (he experienced a mild form due to the infection that occurred). IN the meantime, please meet the famous surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Martinez! No trick or treating for him tonight, however at radiation, they thought it was cute that he dressed up, and they had candy for him. They have been so good to him. And one of the Rad Tech's have become very protective of Ben. He makes sure Ben's music is playing when he shows up for his appointment, AND he makes sure that HE is at the machine when Ben comes in. We have been so blessed. And here at the apartments (that are owned by Kaiser), Ben has found a soft spot in the apartment manager, and she gave him a beautiful rock to help him fight his giant! And the shuttle drivers here fight over who gets to take Ben to his appointments! LOL. We are SO very blessed. Thank you all for your prayers, and encouragements for Ben.
