Thursday 10:45pm, Ben's fever is down to 99.3 last time we checked which is good for
him.  Usually chemo patients will run a fever (low grade) most of the time.  And
so that would be a "normal" temp for him.  Hoping that it will stay down.  Still
not sure what caused it, but chemo doctor does think that his body reacted
harshly to the everyday chemo treatment from last week.
  Poor guy - he's had
stomach/bathroom issues starting last Friday evening, and it's been non-stop -
even as of now.  They are pumping him with different antibiotics hoping that one
of them will keep fever down, and "fix" the infection (whatever it is).  He has
been a trooper, but he just wants to go home.  In the meantime, we need his
fever to stay down (goal 1). Goal 2: diarrhea to cease (completely!), 3. Have
SOME type of results back from cultures that will tell doctor what it is that
his body is trying to remove and 4. He needs to start eating some without
throwing up.  And I KNOW these are all do-able, achievable goals!
